What is skilled nursing?
Skilled nursing provides seniors with 24-hour nursing care in a residential setting. Seniors needing a higher level of care, such as one-on-one assistance with meals, complete care for activities of daily living (dressing, medication management, bathing, etc.) would likely reside in the skilled nursing community. Additional services provided in skilled nursing communities include physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, diabetes management, medication management, wound care, cardiac care, IV/antibiotic therapy, hospice and palliative care as well as social services.
Tenured team of professionals.
Compared to similar communities that struggle with short staffing issues, PPH is pleased to report that many of our team members have been with the organization for many years. This long-term retention of key team members creates continuity, ownership, commitment to the mission and most importantly, love of the residents.
