Summer Camp 2015
All aboard! Campers between the ages of 6 and 11 arrived the week of August 10th for our annual inter-generational summer camp program. The “Pirates and Pixies” theme, prominent in the numerous activities throughout the week, was a tribute to this year’s celebration of “125 Treasured Years” since our Home was incorporated and our charter granted.
The program helps bridge the gap between our wisest and newest generations to dispel age-related myths and stereotypes through meaningful and interactive experiences.
The campers and residents took part in everything from arts and crafts, swimming, bowling, to a treasure hunt and even a trip to Pirate Voyage in Ocean City, New Jersey.
Thank you to our residents, campers, recreation therapy and activities departments for making this year’s camp another success!
We hope these days will become a treasured memory for all involved.
