Summer Camp 2016

“Unforgettable Happens Here.” Boys and girls between the ages of 6 and 11 arrived at PPh on July 18 for another year of making lasting memories during our annual inter-generational summer camp program. The “Magical World of PPh” theme, prominent throughout the numerous programs and activities during the week, served as a celebration of Disney’s cast of characters that have dazzled and provided joy for people of all ages. The week brings lasting memories each year, and continues to exceed expectations.

The program helps bridge the gap between our wisest and newest generations to dispel age-related myths and stereotypes through meaningful and interactive experiences.

The campers and residents took part in everything from arts and crafts, swimming, bingo, a trip to Pixar at the Franklin Institute and culminated with a “Decked in Disney” themed parade followed by a family picnic.

Thank you to our residents, campers, recreation therapy and activities departments for making this year’s camp another success.

This week was a firsthand reminder of what makes us family!
