Father’s Day at PPH

Posted on: May 29, 2020

As we continue to keep PPH closed to visitors to protect our residents from COVID-19, we understand that many family members will want to connect with their loved ones as much as possible. To celebrate Father’s Day, we are asking families to fill out the form below. We will transfer the answers into a letter, along with a gift, for your father to enjoy!

Father's Day

Help us celebrate our PPH dads by answering a few questions and sharing your favorite memories. We will transfer your answers to a nice printout, along with a special gift! We understand it will be difficult to not see your father, however we want to make his day special.

  • What is that one thing your father always says? Maybe it's a saying or something he made up!
  • How are you similar to your father? Maybe you look alike or share a certain personality trait. Maybe it's your taste in movies or food! Share your thoughts here.
  • Share your thoughts on what you admire about your dad. What makes him your hero?
  • We all know our dad tells some pretty good (or bad) jokes. Can you remember one that stands out?
  • What has your dad taught you? Maybe it's changing a tire or changing the world. Let him know your thoughts here.
  • We know it is hard to choose. What is one memory that stands out the most for you? Share this with your father here.
  • What is one (or two) things you would like to thank your father for?
  • We want to be sure to let your father know who this message is from...please type in your name here.

What Residents Say

"In my nine years at PPH, I’ve grown to like it very much. At first, I felt like a stranger and then as I began to talk to people, we increasingly became good friends. A way to meet people is to join clubs. I’m now part of the PPH Auxiliary. I love helping with their flea markets because you never know what you can find. Recently, I’ve joined an evening quilting class. I love that I can continue to enjoy my life outside of PPH while experiencing the offers here.…especially the pool! Everything is just so convenient.

– Lucille Hite, Independent Living resident

What Families Say

"My mom is sooo happy at PPH, I can’t even describe it in strong enough words. She’s met so many new friends and these ladies do EVERYTHING together! She sees Dad every day in Pathways, but can have her life too. She’s gone to so many activities and I think I’ve already been to Scoops with her at least 15 times. She loves the dining room and Bistro too. My sister, Ilene, and I are so delighted that Mom is happy.......Wow, it feels like Mom’s been there about 2 years—but it’s only 2 months!! That’s how comfortable and natural it feels for her – and for all of us.
